Please join us!  Many of us are looking to make a difference in the world.  If you would like to volunteer at a Raleigh non-profit to help those in need, now is your chance to do it through the Raleigh-Durham Singles Meetup Group!  You can bring your teenagers who are looking for community service projects too!

We are going to meet at the Green Chair Project off of Capital Blvd (southbound) inside the beltline in Raleigh from 10:00 am -1:00 pm, Saturday, Jan 18thPlease wear work clothes. Some of us may be cleaning furniture, sorting items, staging items in the showroom, painting, or doing one of many other jobs. This will be fun!

All new volunteers: Please sign the waiver before attending:

Thank you for making this available and for bringing this organization to my attention. It's a great cause. I really enjoyed helping out today. Do you think we should measure this?

I am only going to be able to come for an hour or so as I have to take care of some things with my foster kitty (and if anybody is interested in a 15 month old really cool, buff orange, 15 pound male cat - fixed and all shots - let me I said, he is a really neat cat...good for a home without small children).

Yup. Not a lion...but he does a pretty good pounce! Even so, he's a sweetie and needs a forever home.

No, we usually do it as a group once a month (or as needed). But I'm sure if you have the free time they would be more than appreciative of any time you can give.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
