The Green Chair Project Raleigh - Volunteer Event

Please join us after New Years by helping the Green Chair Project!  Many of us are looking to make a difference in the world.  If you would like to volunteer at a Raleigh non-profit to help those in need, now is your chance to do it through the Raleigh-Durham Singles Meetup Group!  You can bring your teenagers who are looking for community service projects too!

We are going to meet at the Green Chair Project off of Capital Blvd (southbound) inside the beltline in Raleigh from 10:00 am -1:00 pm, Saturday, Jan 4thPlease wear work clothes. Some of us may be cleaning furniture, sorting items, staging items in the showroom, painting, or doing one of many other jobs. This will be fun!

All new volunteers: Please sign the waiver before attending:
(only need to fill this out one time prior to volunteering your first time)

There are a wide variety of tasks, and you get to select the type of task that interest you, such as:  organizing donations, staging donations like a furniture store, cleaning, fixing things, unloading, loading, and/or moving furniture or boxes, among many other tasks suitable for women and men of all ages.  Please join us and see how much fun it can be to work together and help this worthwhile cause!  I look forward to volunteering with you!

Please consider bringing some household items as donations (see the link at the bottom for acceptable items).

Terri, don't worry about signing waiver on line if you can't find it. You can fill it out when you get there. Dress warm (we'll be picking up trash outside-LOL just kidding, I hope)

Looks like we have a great group coming tomorrow! Thank you all for signing up! If the parking lot is full out front, there is plenty of parking out back. If the door is open in the back, you can meander your way up front by coming in the back door. See you Saturday! Thank you all! :)
