The RFAA is an Actor's First Organization founded by the creators of Rebel Filmmaker AZ and the Rebel Film Consortium in the interests of supporting AZ Actors with available audition notices, education and a number of other industry related services.

The folks at Rebel have become very close to the AZ filmmaker. With the rise of the RFC (Rebel Film Consortium) many new and established filmmakers have an increasing need for a directory of local talent.

Rebel Film Consortium Members as well as other filmmakers in AZ will use this Meetup to scout, audition and enlist YOU for roles in narrative film projects.

What we promise our ACTORS!

Assurance Completion:

We assure members that if they are recruited for an RFC film, that film will be finished. If the film is not finished, The RFAA organizers will do everything in its power to track down and retrieve any and all footage related to the project that might benefit an Actor's Reel.

Copy Promised/Credits Promised:

The RFAA will hold RFC filmmakers accountable for providing all acting RFAA members all promised film Copy and Credit. The RFAA will also hold RFC filmmakers responsible for acquiring IMDB status for all associated films. The RFAA will not represent non members interests, nor member interests as they pertain to non-rfc films.

The RFAA is not an agency. It is a meetup group that connects actors and filmmakers through community organization. The RFAA cannot promise actors will be paid for any given role or that any role will be successfully landed.

More Paid Gigs:

The RFAA, as of November 1, 2011 will launch the Rebel Talent MatchPay Fund for Filmmakers. This fund will be fed from a percentage of Actor dues and will begin on a donation from Rebel Filmmaker AZ. This program will match the amount a Filmmaker pays RFAA member actors up to a certain given program maximum.

This means that RFC filmmakers are not only encouraged to pay their talent, they are encouraged to pay RFAA members specifically, and because they have access to this MatchPay Fund, they can spend LESS, to pay you MORE.

****More paid acting gigs and smaller film budgets means a more vibrant industry for AZ film; one where paying your talent because the rule... and not the exception.

The RFAA promises to get your Reel Cut at an affordable price and to provide you with Headshot and other Industry Services at unbeatable, membership exclusive prices. You will come to the festivals we sponsor and participate in all Rebel related classes and events at an incredible discount, if not for FREE.

DUES: 7.99 / Month

Dues are to be paid on the first of every month. If joining Mid-Month (prior to the 15th, but after the 1st) initial dues should be paid immediately and then auto-correct to the 1st of the following month.
