I enjoy the introspection.
Joan does a great job making everyone feel welcome. Most sessions start with physical activity and yoga stretches. The meditation is usually guided, but has sometimes featured "soul dancing" to music. Either way has a very positive effect on the participants. The session is closed with an upbeat discussion of how our week has been or what was gained from the meditation. Joan's meditation sessions are a perfect fit for me.
