GORC First Sunday Group Ride

The Gateway Off-Road Cyclists (GORG) put together a monthly ride on the first Sunday of every month.

From GORC:

This is a No Drop ride with a Hare and Hound format. The faster folks lead out and the not so faster folks chase after them. Sort of. The idea is to ride our bikes and have fun, no one is left behind.

I-44 to Exit 261/Six Flags, right onto Allenton Rd. Follow Allenton up the hill to Hencken Rd. Turn left on Hencken and go about 1/4 mile to the Dogwood Shelter parking lot. Meet at the east end of the lot (turn left again).

In case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled.

Requirements:  HELMET!  This is a must.  If you do not have one I recommend talking to Bike Shop Joe.

- Yourself

- Your mountain bike

- Water

- Spare Tube

- A way to get said tube inflated

- Tools to aid in the said tube or any other mechanical failure

- If in the cold weather months you'll want something warm (layers!)
