About RNYO - Rochester New York Otaku

ROCHESTER NEW YORK OTAKU is an informal anime club that uses Otaku in the broad term, meaning any form of Japanese pop culture is welcome. We like to be social and watch anime, and do other club activities (picnic, bowling etc.). We have members that are into Video Gaming, Live Action, Japanese fashion and J-rock/J-pop as well as straight up anime fans. Whatever your Japanese related interests are, they're welcome to RNYO! Our group site is public, so you don't have to sign in to read the message boards or see where the next meetup is. It just means you can't participate in the message boards or RSVP for events. Although anyone is free to join, we do encourage that you only join as a member if you plan on RSVPing for events or participating in the message boards. This is just so we keep mostly an active membership on the group site. ^_^
