We have been invited to be Paparazzi at the

OZ The Great and Powerful - Friends and Family Premier

We expect there to be stars from this movie at this premier (IMDB Page)

I am not sure if they are expecting only 10 or 15 of us, or if I can open this up to more people. I will find out and if I can open it up, I will do that. But for now, I'll leave it at 15 spots. Thanks everyone.

A Fundraiser for The Coalition of Dwarf Advocacy (CoDA)

Come watch Oz the Great and Powerful with your friends and family who were in the movie (Local Celebrities).  Walk down the Yellow Brick Road (NO Red carpet here we have an actual Yellow Brick Road), get your picture taken by your adoring press and watch the movie with the cast.


Friday March 8th.

Red (Yellow) Carpet Starts at 6pm

Movie at 7:30pm


Birmingham Uptown Palladium

Tickets:

$15 for 2D

$18 for 3D (limited seating)

There is a dollar service charge to use this service.


We will be announcing an After Party soon.  Stay tuned to the facebook invite on the CoDA facebook fan page for details.

Proceeds to this event will be raised for Martin Klebba’s Charity CoDA.  For every ticket sold will come one step closer in finding a loving home for a dwarf orphan.

We have been asked by Colin (at CoDA) to compile all photo submissions, from the Yellow Brick Road & the After-Glow, for possible use *WITH PHOTO CREDIT GIVEN* on future promo materials (ie: social media, possible print, etc.)  by the Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy - as well as for individuals who would like to purchase photo's of themselves/families/friends as a memory/keepsake of the once in a lifetime event.


I have set up an account on Dropbox.com & will be collecting any Post-edited & "photo credit" marked photo's that anyone would like to submit... either by uploading them to the shared Dropbox file directly, or via direct email.      
It has been requested if possible to have all voluntarily submitted photos to the CoDA no later than 3/16.

    Great event, which was fun, and one time occurrance. I still need to see the movie and view the actors in costume as I couldn't get a ticket and was double booked for the night. OZ did great at the box office!

    I will get the Dropbox info emailed to everyone hopefully tonight! Any photos that are submitted to the Dropbox should have your "Photo by ____" mark somewhere on the photo.
    Since individuals may be purchasing photos of themselves from these... It might be a good idea not to have it so huge, that it draws attention away from the photo.

    No details had been absolutely set in stone (as to where Photogs were supposed to be, where things were set up) before we arrived on Friday evening - plus with the number of people... but being a flexible person & all things considered - I had an absolute BLAST!! The event at the theatre, the movie & the After-Party were wonderful!!

    I didn't see Mary, just few of the group but the event was great..Martin Klebba was there :))) many of the munchkins, the baker, flower person, few Emerald city civilians.     For those that were asking - The theater will have a "will call" table, for everyone who has purchased tickets. Just present your photo ID, in order to claim your movie ticket! ALSO - it sounds like the Yellow Brick Road event will be up on the 3rd floor, so it will all be inside.
