Senior Portfolio Shoot

VENUE CHANGE:

We will be heading out to Heritage Park in Farmington instead of doing this downtown. There is just too much going on downtown this weekend for this to be productive down there on Saturday.

Heritage Park is located on Farmington Road between 10 and 11 mile.

When driving here, drive straight in, (don't turn once you are inside the park), and you'll find a parking lot. Park there, and I'll meet you at the end of the parking lot.

Join us for a High School Senior Photo Shoot featuring the lovely Carly Schneider and the adorable Mikeala Galli. These ladies are both still in high school, and are a junior and a senior respectively.

What to bring:

Your camera

An external flash (if you have one)

We will assist each other at this shoot with reflectors etc.

We will shoot along the Riverwalk and the Riverwalk Park. There are also some old buildings around there that will make amazing backdrops.

This workshop is limited to 10 people - and there are currently 4 spots left.

Cost $60 Regular Members(Or.. follow this link and join my new group Portfolio Builders and pay $50 :) )

Cost $50 Super Members

This is an intermediate shooting event, in that I do expect that you know how to change the settings on your camera (shutter/aperture/ISO, etc)

Sandy - they are all showing different forecasts - that's the problem. I would HATE to cancel this, and have a perfect day. It's a gamble for sure - but every day in MI is. If we get there and it starts pouring - we'll deal with it then.

We are going to go ahead as scheduled today - the weather reports are all over the place - but MOST of what I've seen says no rain until 7ish.. See you all at Heritage Park in Farmington at 4!!

It's looking like RAIN on Saturday - I will keep my eye on the weather, and if we have to reschedule, I'll let you all know via EMAIL by 12:30 PM on Saturday.

OK. I'm a dork. I just paid the regular member price for this when I'm a "super member." Does this make me a "super dork?"

I actually already refunded the difference to you. :)

Your original location was the river walk and it appears that you are still planning this location, please consider that the Grand Prix will be running at the same time, I would suggest that we consider a different location as downtown Detroit will be very busy. May I suggest Crambrook Institute, plenty of fountains, flowering plants, lots of parking and relatively quiet.

    May 29, 2013

    • Amy

It will be busy, but it won't be as busy as you think as the Grand Prix is on Belle Isle, and we'll be on the river walk. Cranbrook charges for this sort of thing, and I didn't charge you all enough to cover their fee. The is happening at the River Walk as originally planned. :)

    • Mark P.

Cranbrook charges? I have been out there numerous times without being charged, the parking will be very limited downtown, particularly around the river areas.
