More poems

Our poetry event last fall was very successful:  there were even three people reading their own poems! (I didn't realize people still wrote poetry.) So I've decided to have another one. Come and read your favorite poets--or even poets you don't like so much.

As usual, if  you want to read something off-topic or you'd rather just listen, that's OK with us.  And if you want to read your own writing, so much the better!

Butler's Pantry is in Mirvish Village, just southwest of Honest Ed's, near the Bathurst subway station.

I absolutely love the idea behind this meetup group - thank you James for thinking of it. I met some wonderful people and got to hear of some wonderful poets whose work I thoroughly enjoyed. It was such a treat! Thanks everyone.

It would be even nicer if you could encourage some friends to join.

it was lovely to meet and to listen to such lovely words. Thanks to Jane for introducing me to this group. Most special was the opportunity to hear people read their own work.

Yes, a lover of Poems & Songs. I have furthered into writing songs' part times as one must certainly also survive in this great city.
