They fall in line
One at a time
Ready to play
(I can't see them anyway)
No time to lose
We've got to move
Steady your helm
(I am losing sight again)

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)
After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

There's nothing left
So save your breath
Lying in wait
(Caught inside this tidal wave)
Your cover's blown
No where to go
Holding your fate
(Loaded I will walk alone)

Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)
After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

The battle for the Omwynatti orbital platforms ended in success, securing the planet for the Republic and cumulating in an explosive confrontation with Imperial and Mandalorian forces.

Phoenix squad successfully infiltrated the command platform and fought through to enemy held corridors until they reached the command center. Encountering a room full of Netra Aden Kal Mandos, including four they were very familiar with, the squad devised a plan to seize control of the security terminals in the room. Sgt Camisa used his explosives expertise combined with Lt. Thorasi’s guerilla warfare knowledge to get the drop on the enemy commandos. Sgt. Vorax grabbed control of the power via the computer terminals to layer the plan for perfect execution. Once inside, the fight that ensued was brutal.

Through the force, luck, and a little help from Master Mithias and Padawan Genevive, Arnung managed to survive a duel with the Master Vibro blade duelist, Yonni Vizsla. Taking down the Mandalorian was no easy task.
Vorax and Camisa worked together to kill Illia Ordo, before knocking Orade Skirata unconscious. Lt. Thorasi found herself in hand to hand combat with the grenadier Tymis Daala. She managed to render him unconscious after administering two doses of highly effective tranquilizer.

As the Republic had won the day, Phoenix squad headed back to Domum Station, two new prisoners in two. (Making a total of four in the holding cells.)

Questioning of Madilyn Corlath led to very little, her only give away the phrase : Have you ever kissed death? I have, and you do not frighten me.
Extended investigation into her background uncovered her married name, Corlath-Hythwynd. A sweep of her belongings revealed the gems in her jewelry were attuned to the force.

The crew was finally given a glimpse at the events of six years ago by General Grimmnar, revealing his (and the rest of old Phoenix squads) connections to outcast Jedi, Sith, rogue troopers, and wanted Mandalorians a little more clearly.

Lt. Patches finally discovered what had really happened to his brother, and where he was the last time Major Lorzyk had seen him.

A holo call with Ghej Bralor and Darth Soturi let them know that the Sith and Mandalorian would be searching for them and their station.
The Twi’lek (Dr. Geet) they rescued off Looriva told them about a cybernetic/brainwashing and conditioning program funded by Darth Marr. The program was based on the Imperial home world, but had been established on the planet Dyst as well. Originally the brainchild of the demented and now dead Darth Maltiss, the program was started six years ago and had since been refined.

The Sith prisoner, Tenrys, is the only live subject of this procedure they have managed to capture. The cybernetics program stands as a threat all peoples free wills, and even threatens that of trained force users. Dr Geet also revealed that interesting archaeological and engineering programs were taking place on Dyst, though he was unable to give details.

With the six year old connections finally appearing clearer, and all signs pointing to Dyst, the squad begins to prep for their next mission.
Dyst is a large planet, with many mysteries and strange customs. It will take some intense prep time to prepare the squad to go behind enemy lines, gather intelligence, and establish a beach head for Republic forces. Whatever the Empire is concealing on the distant outer rim planet, General Grimmnar intends for them to find out. The cybernetics program stands as a threat to all peoples free wills, and even threatens that of trained force users. Once on Dyst, there will be no back up or evac response. Phoenix Squad will be completely on their own.

I'm bringing buffalo chicken dip, Tostitos, and celery sticks. I've made this before and a cold carbonated drink goes best with it. Heavy and cheesy. And really flipping good.

Stern talking too? *head desk* Don't worry Edd. There's worse out there than Ghej. He's actually the least of your problems right now. Chew on that for a lil bit. :)
