Since 2003 after about a 20 year break. Rode a KZ650 for a few years right after high school, crashed it and then started a family.... that was a long time ago! Currently have ridden in 21 of the eastern states.
My British Exotic- 2011 Aluminium Silver Triumph Sprint GT.... Triples RULE!!! Previous bikes were a '99 Honda ST1100, '83 Honda GL650I Silverwing, '79 Kawa KZ650.
RTE, Sporty day rides, and long multi-day rides. My favorite road is the Blue Ridge Parkway, but I have yet to get to the western U.S.
ATGATT !!!!! FF helmet, armored textile jacket & pants, gloves, boots..... ALL THE TIME... seriously. I do silently judge other riders that think shorts/t-shirt, or jeans/leather vest is "good enough". It's your choice... but not one I agree with. I mean seriously.... haven't we seen enough carnage over the years to convince us wearing the gear is smart? We all know someone that has gone down & suffered for it.
Some have called me .... "a peerless malcontent of the old school, opinionated, cynical, incorruptible, allergic to fluff, intolerant of fools, and someone who doesn't guive a rat's ass whether you like it or not" I prefer to ride solo so when I make a wrong turn only I know. I usually do not ride in any group larger than 4 or 5 bikes... and usually only with people that I know & trust. It's nothing personal... I've learned to be careful. I do like a "spirited" pace. If I decide to peel off... it's OK. I still like you.
I like long walks on the beach, quiet candlelight dinners, & making memories. Lived in Rochester all my life... until relocating to the high peaks region of the ADK's. Please feel free to stop in if ya need overnight accommodations.
Just plain good folks.
