I have been to classes with Greensboro, Durham and Raleigh. This is a good location.

Great organization composed of wonderful people sharing the passion of boating, no matter if you own anything afloat or not! Wealth of boating knowledge amongst the membership, always willing to share with new boaters. Courses and seminars offered are perfect educational tools in safe boating skills for sailors, powerboaters and paddlers alike. I joined RSPS in 2002 when a sailboat found me.....

Has anyone noticed that their electronic charts show a serious error in locating the western end of Shackleford Banks? When passing between Shackleford and Bird Shoal on a track close to Shackleford, the plotter puts my boat more than several hundred yards to the south - on land. This occurs with both a Navionics chip in a Raymarine C-80 and with BlueCharts in a Garman 276C.

RSPS - Is a fun yet educational boating group. After all, fun is had after a very smooth, non eventful, accident free day on the water.
