Kanban for Leaders

  • Apr 16, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • Rally Software

Keep in mind that Eric Willeke is a well known Kanban consultant, writer, and practitioner with vast experience. We're extremely pleased to have him come and talk to the group. It should be a very valuable experience.

Are your teams equipped for growth? The leaders in the software world are constantly trying to sustain effective alignment across teams, deliver to ever-changing goals, and maintain sufficient quality to enable future growth. These goals are immense, and can only be achieved if teams are capable of sustaining and improving their own capability and flexibility.

This session introduces leaders to aspects of Kanban relevant to anybody helping steer the modern business. We will explore the key mindsets and behaviors used to align people across levels, the core practices of the Kanban Method, and the tools available to enable transparent, fully-aligned decision making. Attendees will obtain immediately applicable insights about creating the context for incremental growth.

6:30pm - Introductions
6:45pm - Kanban for Leaders
8:00pm - Fishbowl Discussion
8:30pm -  Adjourn

Anniversary trumps Meetup. Especially since I don't even own a dog house to sleep in.
