For the guy whose Ducati got wiped out by the other rider in Turn1, if you know that guy's name & address, perhaps you can file a liability claim against him. Most homeowners and renters insurance policies have liability coverage - and it should apply as it was an accident and no other coverage applies (so you don't double recover). Hopefully, you won't have to eat the cost - you can make a claim for the full loss. I witnessed the accident, too, as did Karen. I can provide a witness statement for you.

If you don't know that guy's name, perhaps STT or the Autobahn "clean-up crew" knows his name.

It's gonna be my first time on the track so I have a few questions.... Main thing is how to get my bike ready to roll, I don't understand few of the instructions about what to cover and so.... And also I have pretty good rubber on my R6 but I need somebody to tell me if they are enough there or I should install new tires.... If somebody lives close to Naperville and allow me to come and check your bike I will gladly do so. :) THks.

Thank you Beth for taking your time to help me, it's so nice to have you. I will go through the regulations again and try to understand better what to do bikewise.. I read it and have doubts of how to: for example, cover the valve stems caps.. how to safety drain wire the cups.. and so on. I f they have pictures showing how to do it probably I could understand better what are they talking about.

Rod, you don't need to cover the valve stem caps, you just need to have the caps on them. You don't need to be bothered by safety wire, it's only required for Advanced group. If you consider running Intermediate for day two (I recommend signing up for Novice and move on after an instructor has evaluated you) , please note that you can't run stock coolant, you'll have to swap to Engine Ice or similar. Any other questions? Just post here and I'll reply first chance I get.
