Get on your happy pants and gear up for the most unregulated party bash of the year! HOLIDAY is a potluck barbeque to celebrate the solstice and every other festival that you feel like.

A holiday is a generic, all-purpose term for the celebration of a special event or seasonal happening. "HOLIDAY" is the combination of any and all events into a mish-mashed, free-for-all celebration frenzy.

-Feats of Daring! Compete against other Holiday participants to win the Holiday Tournament and become the Duke/Duchess of Holiday!

-Food! Bring an Easter Fruitcake or St. Patrick's Matzo balls to share with all your friends!

-Drink! Bring green beer and punch! Koozies with pastel reindeer and pumpkin fireworks on them!

-Costume! Prizes for best Holiday costume!

-Song! Independence carols!

Please consider bringing a dish/drinks to help everyone enjoy themselves. If you plan on having alcohol, please BE RESPONSIBLE and bring a container so we don't have beer cans floating around! We will be at the picnic shelters in Byrd Park. If you can't find us, call or text[masked] 6482.

We are roughly in the same area as the last cookout we had here. Near the maymont visitors center at a stone grill

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
