RVA Sandlot (Coed Baseball)

Welcome to RVA Sandlot!

We started our journey on Meetup in order to provide individuals with an opportunity to play recreational baseball. We value inclusiveness and sportsmanship and, as a result, our games are a lot of fun for all. People of all backgrounds and skill level are welcome so long as you share a passion for being active, working in a team and enjoying good-natured competition.

RVA Sandlot members run the gamut of skill levels. We have folks who have college level baseball or softball experience to those who have only seen a few games on TV. Come check us out and meet some really cool people who genuinely love baseball and love sharing it with others.

Meetup logistics:

• Co-ed, overhand pitch baseball (speed adjusted based on skill and comfort level)

• Pick-up style games played between members (special games may be scheduled with other coed baseball groups)

• Schedules can vary but most games are played Sunday mornings

• Practice sessions and weeknight games during the peak season
