My work is up for the the month of February at the Midlothian Urban Farmhouse. If you haven't been out there, it's so cute! The space is really nice.

I made a bunch of new work for the show. Come see!

The art is priced to sell so bring your cash, or buy ahead online!

I'll bring the shared paper and pen bag so people can doodle or play Exquisite Corpse when we brunch. Feel free to bring your sketchbook or something you are working on. (No messy media, please. This is a restaurant).

They have breakfast and brunch til 2, really good soups, salads, sandwiches, coffee, and a great beer and wine selection!

If you aren't familiar with Exquisite Corpse... a paper is folded into thirds, one person draws the head on the top third and folds it down and marks the connecting lines onto the middle section and passes it on. The next person draws the torso and connecting lines for the legs, the third person draws the legs/feet/tail/lower portion. Then all unfold and laugh and clap!

You do not have to be skilled in drawing. You can spend as much or as little time on each section. Draw as many as you feel like or just come and hang.

Check out some sources for history and facts and more examples of Exquisite Corpse:

Bring friends! Cash or supply donations welcome to keep the group in pens and paper!

I won't be in town this weekend but it sounds like fun. Haven't been to an opening in a while.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
