Continuing with complimentary participation via SKYPE Group access. If you RSVP with your phone number, we can add you to the Group. If you have a camera active on your computer we should be able to see each other. Please add our phone number to your database in case your computer is not turned on timely. Since we are located in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the unincorporated part of San Mateo County, it is a beautiful but distant drive for several in our group so this form of access will now be available.
We encourage everyone to read The Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard for a wonderful overview of ACIM.
We begin with an approximate 1 hr CD of one of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick's Seminars/ Workshops. We then each read one or two paragraphs from ACIM Text. We then share any Workbook Lesson which was particularly meaningful and share comments, insights, questions, examples. This is an informal setting. Our gathering is about working as a group to support each participant to bring what we learn from the Course into our everyday experiences in a light and fun manner. We have embraced the philosophy of "enjoying the journey". If you are new and do not have a book, we will provide.
We also recommend these book sets:
Journey Through The Workbook of A Course in Miracles, an 8 volume set elaborating on the 365 Workbook Lessons ... and ... Journey Through the Manual of A Course in Miracles, which contains the same wonderful detail on the Manual for Teachers as well as "Clarification of Terms" . Both by Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D. and available from Foundation for A Course in Miracles.
