Hi! I am Lisa. I am a recent Cornell graduate and a NYC transplant. Of my myriad interests, feminism leads the pack in importance and passion.

What are your thoughts about and stance on feminism and sex equality?

Pro-feminism and sex equality. Contrary to mainstream American beliefs, I think we have a long way to go to reach gender equality and the repercussions of continued inequality along with the lack of acknowledgment of gender inequality are severe.

Do you have any background in activism (feminist or otherwise)?

Feminist Activism through Cornell University organizations -- co-founded Students Acting for Gender Equality, performed in the Vagina Monologues, helped organize events for the Women's Resource Center, led a group called Sexual Awareness for Everyone, etc.

What social issues do you strongly care about?

Reproductive justice, Violence against women, Sexualization in the media, Sexism, Intolerance, Human Trafficking, LGBTQ rights, Censorship, & Body Image
