Recently many people have been asking me about Blood Pressure.
Blood pressure symptoms come from fluidics or fluid logic challenges. There are two primary areas of consideration. First is fluid viscosity or thickness. Next is the integrity of fluid passages, including their size, slickness and elasticity. High blood pressure occurs when fluid viscosity becomes thicker and usually fluid passages reduce in size, become clogged and covered with sticky material. Low blood pressure occurs when fluid passages lose integrity and expand when they should remain rigid. Think of putting water in a hose with a nozzle. When the nozzle closes, water flow stops and the hose should contain water and maintain its rigidity. With low blood pressure, when the nozzle closes fluid passages deform and either long sections expand or bubbles form. Here's how I'd address these situations if they were my projects. For high blood pressure I'd focus on hydration and using nutrient rich, calorie sparse, blended foods. I usually drink around 3 gallons of fluids daily. 1-2 liters of Chocolate Bliss & Rain Forest Rush. 2-3 liters of high water content foods. 1-2 gallons pure water. The ultimate beauty, energy, mood, longevity, Raw Super Food is water! Many doctors suggest high blood pressure is an aspirin deficiency and will suggest taking baby aspirin to thin blood. Thick blood usually results from chronic dehydration, aggravated by high calorie, low nutrient, sticky foods. First I'd increase my pure water intake. Then if your Alchemy Skills masterful, design your own liquid Raw Super Food fluids. Your key components to work with will be dilators, which are substances which enhance fluid passage size and elasticity. These include pure, fully fermented, absent of shell debris, Cacao (Chocolate) Powder, which will tend to work better than nibs in this case. Also Ultra Tocos, Camu Camu berries, Tomato powder, Rhodiola Rosea, Maca, Guarana and Yerba Matte. Be sure you Cacao, Camu, Maca, Guarana and Yerba are cold processed, so they are adaptogens, rather than stimulants. If your Super Food Alchemy Skills are still coming upscale start with Chocolate Bliss, Rain Forest Rush and Fiesta Mole as bases and experiment with additional ingredients, especially Sun Fire Salt, different EFA sources and berries. For savory (non-sweet) foods remember avocados, olives, okra and germinated or activated nuts. Edamame beans are more of a transitional food and their rich oils, massive tryptophan levels and digestion ease rate them in this list also. For low blood pressure I'd focus on increasing fluid passage integrity, so fluid passages stay rigid every heart beat, rather than deforming and expanding. I'd do this by mixing as much Camu Camu and excipient free MSM into every food and fluid (like smoothies) I ingested, until my fluid passage integrity had repaired. Along this I'd look for hidden excipients and remove them. Refer to our Step-By-Step Guide for additional details about the challenges of excipients. Excipients may play a direct role in this, due to the nutrient blocking characteristics of some. By removing nutrient blocking excipients, then greatly increasing Camu Camu with MSM, tissue regeneration is greatly accelerated. High octane digestive enzymes are another key component which serve to balance both high blood pressure and low blood pressure symptoms. To choose an enzyme product, first ensure your choice is excipient free. Next, check your experience. Most enzymes work well. The primary difference is enzyme strength. Enzyme strength speaks of the number of enzymatic reactions which can be done before the enzymes break down and recycle. We use Digest because 1-2 caps produce a similar effect to 8-10 caps of many other products. My rule of thumb is, "use whatever gives you a light feeling after eating, from taking the least amount of enzymes possible." Less is best! Edited by David Favor on Jul 10, 2008 2:59 PM |

Along with what David has added you may want to include what I did...
My father and I have suffered from high blood pressure for the last few months and I started treating both of us with 1/4 of a large Organic Beet, 1 Organic Apple and 1/2 Organic Lemon combined as a juice and for the last 3 doctors visits my father and I have had perfect blood pressure reports. The "Traditional Doctor" even told my dad "to keep doing whatever it is your doing". I must say that I do eat a 95% raw diet and exercise 5 days a week along with some meditation. Hope this helps Much Luv! Lisa |

great topic.
I think David is right on the money with the focus on hydration. One thing missing from the response is just how critical salt is to our ability to intake and properly store water. If the body is depleted of quality salt, we can drink a ton of water and our cells won?t get properly hydrated. So a few options there would be to do salt washes until the body stops holding on to the salt and begins quickly expelling it. Then one thing I do is I take a 2 gallon jug and fill it with pure water, a teaspoon of Sunfire Salt and a teaspoon of MSM and a few drops of essential orange oil. Very hydrating. First two places I tell clients to check with blood pressure issues is water and salt. A great book on this topic is ?Your Body?s Many Cries for Water?. I can?t spell the author?s name from memory, but it has great information and is well worth a read. Rick |

Hi ,
I have high blood pressure. I eat mostly veggies, some fruits and walk about four miles a day. I drink alot. I drink apple cider vinegar with chorphyll and water, more water , ozonated water, and greens juiced, beet and celery juice, carrot juice and fresh lemon juice. I still have an issue with hydration, high blood pressure and hypo-thryoid and my anti-bodies are attacking it. I supplement MSM, willard water and all the good oils. I don't lose weight easily either but develop muscle tissue very easy. What else can cause the hydration problem? Thanks Krista |

Along with what David has added you may want to include what I did... Lisa, You have a great combo of veges which greatly assist balancing blood pressure. Here's why:
If I were balancing blood pressure I'd make a few additions to accelerate my process:
And, even though you only mention your exercising and Raw Fooding in passing, these are way important contributors. These great habits will greatly accelerate other upscaling of your health habits. Edited by David Favor on Jun 21, 2008 9:25 AM |

Hi , The post Rick Mathes made above may assist you. For hydration to occur, cell salt levels must be high enough to allow water to "wick" into cells, like candle wax "wicks" into a lit candle. Many people eating Vegan or the Raw Food Diet come to us extremely dehydrated. And since you're already upscale in your eating style (diet), you'll be able to uplevel your hydration to peak, with grace and ease. If I were eating as immaculate as you are and still having pH and hydration issues (they go hand in hand) I'd go a few days exclusively living on blended foods like Chocolate Bliss & Fiesta Mole based soups. I'd also add additional Sun Fire Salt to taste. In other works, trust my biological intelligence (intuition) to direct me about what amount of Salt was perfect for me. Notice I said I'd go on an exclusive, liquid, Raw Super Foods eating style for a few days. This is because most MSM is full of excipients. Most oils are processed and stored incorrectly and designer waters (like Willard water) may have hydration blocking effects. To rapidly enhance my hydration, the easy way, I'd exclusively use technologies which have a track record of rapidly increasing hydration, keep doing these until my hydration balanced, then phase back in one new item every few days and only keep using items which promoted my hydration. First I'd use pH papers (from us or most corner pharmacies) and ensure my pH was in the 6.8-7.2 band. Other pH levels indicate major challenges. You can refer to our Step-By-Step Guide for an expanded explanation. Far acid or far alkaline pH indicate an escalating acid pH which blocks hydration, to protect from "wicking" acid water into cells. Alkaline pH is required to set the stage for peak cell hydration. I'd also use some form of cost effect hydration meter like the Tanita Body Composition Scale track the effect of my experiments. This moves tracking experiments out of the subjective realm into the measurable realm. Edited by David Favor on Jun 21, 2008 10:00 AM |

You can acquire these using our low-tech order page.
Super Food Alchemy Skills refers to a person's ability to combine many Raw Super Foods in ways which produce both amazing synergy and decadent taste. Best to start with our Raw Food Synergists Chocolate Bliss, Fiesta Mole, Rain Forest Rush, etc. first. Use these a bases and add other items to create new effects. |

Hi David,
I notice your reply to Lisa on how Beet juice greatly enhances elasticity of fluid passage. And how carrot juice in equal amounts greatly amplifies this effect. Also you stated to add a pinch of sun fire salt to balance out high sugar content. Could you elaborate on this subject on how sun fire salt help balance out sugar in your body? Thanks, Yvette Roper |

Carrots & Beets are highly hybridized, meaning their mineral/enzyme/nutrient to sugar ratio far to much sugar.
Best to add Sun Fire Salt until sweetness of these juices turns slightly savory and have a Digest whenever you drink them. Same for bananas and wheat grass juice. Both have have sugar out of balance with their mineral/enzyme/nutrient ratio. All these foods have marvelous qualities which have best effect with added minerals and enzymes. Great question! |
