Hey all, nice to meet everyone tonight. I hope I didn't bore you too much! As promised, here are my slides from tonight: http://www.slideshare.net/JamieDavidson2/rails-angular-meetup

If you want to follow me on the interwebs, I'm @jamiehdavidson on Twitter and @jhdavids8 on Github (be on the lookout for a ton of Angular directives).

And don't forget, we have an amazing opportunity for a Rails/Angular hacker at Pathgather. If you're interested, or just want to connect, feel free to email me at [masked]

    Thanks!

Seems unlikely that you'll have space for everyone. #ProTip I used to set Meetup size limits, slightly higher than capacity bc of the inevitable no-shows.

I'm attending with Rob Infantino; we are indeed looking for Ruby/Rails developers. I'll be the guy in the ridiculous red button-up shirt... COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE... er... work.

I'm new to RoR so I'm looking forward to connect with some experts. Quick question: how's the parking around the office?

Was introduced to Rails after years of HTML,CSS javaScript, and do i dare to say it, PHP with no framework...dun dun dun....lol... Ok, Rails guys get your laughs....good....lol An awesome Rails developer in Boston a few years back looked at me CRAZY cause I asked what's Rails? So ever since then ive been ramping up my time with it and its pretty awesome.

So I am hoping to just soak up as much knowledge as I can at this meetup. Anyone that uses Rails or involved with Applications via the net, knows there is much to learn, youre dont only have to know Rails.

I didnt see Ember.js on the list of client-side frameworks...lol, but I hope to pick up some methods for apps and the such in general from the talks and look forward to meeting some cool peps.
