Anybody would be interested in 1-day Rails hands-on lab? I just need a place where internet is accessible. And I provide all the contents. The topics could be asset pipeline, RSpec, Ajax/JavaScript, Authenticaiton, etc.

      Yes, with Java.

If anyone wants to organize this (logistically), I am willing to do it.

Hey all I'm very sorry about this. I created this meetup to see how the application worked but I didn't think it was ever put out for public view. My apologies for this.

Nonetheless, the Meetup's organizers shouldn't be asleep at the wheel like this.

I didn't know I had the authority to do this. I hope a bunch of people don't end up at Zipcar because of this. I think meetup has problems with its administrator settings. Now I can't unchange it! Sheeesh!

Thanks for being proactive, Nick. Any luck finding out more information?

As someone who organized a Ruby Meetup for three years (DCRUG in Washington, DC), I cannot understand why this group is being neglected by its organizers.

I think it's time for Dan, Adam, Matt, and Tim to acknowledge that they're unable to give the 1,000-person membership the attention it deserves, and should pass the torch to new organizers who will manage it actively.

There is http://bostonrb.org/ which is very active. I would suggest checking them out.

A Thursday sounds good to me too. Is this meetup still happening though - it's a bit stale now?

Sounds awesome. How about a Thursday night?

Learning Ruby right now, keep me posted on a date for this!

Perhaps you forgot to put the date?

I'd love to check this out if I can make it. I'm learning Ruby now and will be attending Launch Academy (a Boston RoR-based developer bootcamp) starting in two weeks.

    This sounds awesome. Can't wait!
