There was a good turnout for volunteers, many of whom had the right experience for what was needed. Everyone was very positive and helpful. Deciding on details did not take long to decide because everyone was on the same page. It was helpful to have all of the curriculum and workshop information available and present in the wiki and I was impressed that the instruction set was tested prior to workshop and installfest day. Desi was a good and commanding leader, confident and assured.

Had a great time helping out. Everyone was very friendly, volunteers were treated very well and were appreciated. With the amount of people we had, it would be great if we could find a larger venue - but the Hashrocket offices were fine for our purposes.

Thank you so much for organizing this workshop! I think it's a great idea and I learned a lot in a very short amount of time. Many thanks to all the volunteers!

Very nice to see and meet so many women interested in programming. Things went very well and I feel everyone learned a lot while realizing there is a lot of support for them.

This was an awesome event. Desi McAdam put together a workshop that worked for everyone, volunteers and attendees alike. One of the best events I've ever been involved with. I look forward to the next one.

Hi Desi! I do apologize for the last moment's notice, but due to the weather from this week, I had to take a later flight back home. I do hope to participate in the next session! Good luck, Ladies!
