Looking for a Sr. Rails Developer - Machine Learning

Hello Fellow Ruby Developers,

I am looking for a Sr. Rails Developer to join my dev team here at
www.cakestyle.com. We use rspec, git, elasticsearch, mysql, memcached
and rails of course. Someone who really likes working in the women's
retail clothing industry and likes a startup environment and
understands how critical the first few years of a startup are and can
give his/her all would fit in really well here! Morning scrums,
pivotal tracker, 2 week sprints are some of the methods we use here to
get stuff done and track our progress.

We have some really cool projects coming up, especially around machine
learning. If you have built recommendation engines in the past or
similar tools, I'd love to hear from you. Looking for someone
comfortable with the full stack - jquery/css/sass/haml/html/ruby on rails/mysql/unix
command line. Mac laptops.

Good salary, benefits, very smart people with no egos. Small dev team
so you will get your hands into all aspects of development and
architecture. No pairing here - it's just too much fun to solve
problems on your own.

2 offices currently - one in Chicago and one in San Francisco. I am in
SF - the right person can be here in SF or living in Chicago and can
work there. Either way, you will have to be an awesome communicator
with not only the dev team, but with all in our organization.

If this sounds interesting to you, can you recommend some
functionality that you can build that would be an important feature
for cakestyle to have that we may not have thought about? Why do you
think we need it? Can you also send me your resume? Send it to

No recruiters - I'll find someone on my own.
