Getting Started with Programming 1: Introduction to version management

The very first workshop after creating your first Rails application will teach you how to make the code available online.

You will learn how to manage changes of the code as you (and anyone else) work on it, and how to preview that code by accessing a web address.

For this purpose we will use Gitlab that allows us to have our private repositories (codebases) and Heroku for the deployment (that process that publishes your code from your computer to out there on internet).

After this workshop you should be able to create any app you want and publish it online.

11h: Start workshop

13hish: Lunch break

14h-18h: free time for questions or working on your own project

19h: end

This meetup's food and drinks will be sponsored by Hiro. Thanks! <3
