We had a lot of smart readers here to discuss "The Well of Loneliness" in January. In February, we'll discuss a book about a similar epoch, but with much more contemporary and international themes. "The Book of Salt" by Monique Truong, is told from the perspective of Binh, a gay man who has fled Vietnam and now endures the winters of Paris, where he's the chef for Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas. It is rich and lyrical, read about it here.
Then join us on Wednesday, February 20 at 7PM. We'll discuss the book and so much more!
