Thanks to everyone who came in May to discuss Sarah Waters' "Fingersmith". Reviews were mixed, but everyone agreed it was a page-turner, once you figured out what was going on...
For June, we'll get together to discuss "Happy Accidents", a memoir by actress Jane Lynch. She grew up in Chicago and has lots of good family stories to share. Affordable copies are available on Amazon and Ebay.
And while we're at it, let's talk about July, too. This will be posted later, but the book we'll discuss on July 17th is "Desert of the Heart" by Jane Rule. This is one of those rare times when they made a movie that was nearly as good as the book! So pick it up now and you'll have plenty of time to read it.
The group's new facilitator is Joanne Jenet, who has been involved in RCC activities for quite some time. She's really looking forward to reading a great queer book every month. Welcome, Joanne!
