Hi Josh. Enjoyed meeting you and the group on the Gay Marriage day, enjoyed seeing all the pics too. However, I didn't download anything because my cell went on the fritz and had to be replaced, so I lost all my pics. New cell, new day. So, I'm hoping the tomorrow's Dragon festival/races will be a wonderful day full of fun and photographing! lol I hope that at least some of our members call to meet me there.....we'll see. But it will be a beautiful day anyway!! Hope to see you again soon!!

Hey Josh, sorry even I won't be able to make it to the Rockaway Meetup now. It was looking like it would be postponed as it was, but I hope that we can go sometime because it looks great. Maybe we could also plan a trip to photograph Governor's Island? There's the free ferry there and so many neat old buildings!

I don't know of any events at the Staten Island Botanic Gardens off the top of my head, but I remember they have a beautiful scholar's garden on the premises. The rose garden would probably be in bloom this time of year, for those who enjoy photographing flowers. And the ferry ride over is always a great photo opportunity.
