Our activity will begin at 9:00 am..

 Our goal is to have fun, remain injury free, develop key muscles, and to run a 5k by the end of 8 Weeks!

Old running shoes could be hazardous!!! and it is highly recommended that you begin this program with a new pair of shoes for running on pavement.

    Hey everyone,
    I will be in charlotte tomorrow to watch my son run at NCAA Regionals. Nadine should be there to lead the group - although she doesn't know that yet. :-)
    Saturday's run is for 25 minutes and please run the first 15 to 18 minutes slowly; for the last 7 to 10 minutes, go ahead and run fast and slow intervals. Run fast until you run out of breath and then slow to a jog until you are ready to run fast again. Do not finish running fast, allow enough time for your heart rate to slow before stopping. For some it's okay to stop fast, but others may become ill feeling.
