Please arrive early for warm up and introductions at 5:45 - we will begin our workout at 6:00.
By Request, Workout Routines will be posted for each event - It is strongly recommended that you go through the full program and make up runs on your own when you are unable to attend a meetup.
Duration: 35 Min
Warm up: Walk for 5 minutes
Next: 25 min run
Cool Down: 5 Minute Walk
We will not track mileage for the first five weeks - the initial training is based on "time" in order to prevent a competitive response and put us a risk of injury before our muscles have had a chance to develop.
Our goal is to have fun, remain injury free, develop key muscles, and to run a 5k by the end of 8 Weeks!
Old running shoes could be hazardous!!! and it is highly recommended that you begin this program with a new pair of shoes for running on pavement.
