Crocheting is something that can be relaxing and fun!  This is our goal: to relax, chat, eat and have some fun!  Come join us and bring along your current project to work on.

Several times a year we work on different Service Projects.  We have made many blankets, baby hats and scarves that have been donated to our soldiers in Afghanistan, Wake Med, Ewe To You, Raleigh Resue Mission, Interact and other agencies. 

For fun we have an annual Christmas Party, share a pattern library, have special doorprize meetings and periodic yarn swaps! 

We meet at Panera Bread near Best Buy (on Capital Blvd).  Please remember to be considerate of our host meeting place. Plan to enjoy a cup of soup, a sandwich or a pastry with something to drink. 

To help defray the cost of the expenses we have the "Quarter Jar" which will be passed around at each meeting. If you can drop in a couple quarters it will help with website (yes, Meetup charges me a monthly fee to maintain the site!), printing, project materials and when we have excess, doorprize expenses.

Be sure to RSVP for the meetings as they fill quickly!  If you bring a friend just be sure you put their name in the comment section so i can make them a nametag, too!   If your plans change be sure to change your RSVP. And after the meetings please take a moment to write a comment about the meeting (you will received an email prompting this a day after the meeting). See you there!!
