Modern Square Dancing in Raleigh

Adults and families with teens. $5 per person. Casual attire.

For people who have no experience with square dancing -- You don't need to know anything about square dancing. You will be shown everything you need to know to be able to dance and have a great time.

Enjoy a fun evening of dancing in the Fellowship Hall in the rear of the First Baptist Church at 99 N. Salisbury Street.

This is not a kid's school dance, nor is it contra style. It is modern Western Square Dance which is popular all over the country and in other parts of the world. There are hundreds of dancers in the Triangle area.

Western Square Dance is a fun activity that couples can do in an affordable wholesome sociable environment and it provides significant mental and physical health benefits. It is easy to enjoy because the caller leads the dancers to perform all movements at his direction.

The Caller is Vance McDaniel, who has many years of experience and uses lots of popular songs. He is a Platinum Records recording artist and leads entertaining dances several times a week in the Triangle area.

It promises to be an energetic and fun evening with lots of laughs. You'll be surprised how well you'll be dancing at the end of the night!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
