Google Hangout: D&D Next Playtest

  • February 23, 2013 · 12:00 PM

I am currently running the Caves of Chaos using the rule set present in the D&D Next Playtest. I will be using the latest rules as they become available so I can provide accurate feedback to the surveys. I want to to run a fun session with the intent of hopefully making the next version of D&D the best it can be.

Things you will need to do before participating:

  • signup to participate in the D&D Next playtest.
  • create an account with Google.
  • create a sign in account on roll20.net.
  • (optional) Create a customized character before the session. Pre-Gens are provided.

Thanks for letting me listen in. It was interesting to see how Roll20 works with Google Hangouts. Playtest was pretty cool too.

A few people still haven't added me to their circle. I can't send out a invitation to the Google invitation without having a google email address.

Just wanted to give another reminder for everyone to make sure they have taken a look at the meetup event page. It contains information on what you will have to do to participate in the D&D Next playtest and to get to the Google Event.

Unfortunately, most all of Google's services require a login. I will be unable to stream the playtest On Air.

I'm interested to see the changes they're making. I work on Saturdays however, and don't get out of here until 3pm. Any chance I can just listen in?

For everyone attending I'll need to be added to one of your circles in order for me to send a invite to the hangout.

Because I received a few emails I wanted to make sure everyone that was signed up was aware that this was being run as a online event using Google hangout. In order to added the even you will have to added me to your circle on google+ or send me a mail so I can added you to the event manually.
