Pathfinder Society Organized Play at The Gamer's Armory

  • Please join us on Friday Nights for Pathfinder Society Organized Play at The Gamer's Armory from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

The sessions are held in the back area of our store...where things are a little more quiet!  We think it provides a perfect setting for role playing!

Do I need to be registered? Yes. All Pathfinder Society players must register themselves and their character online at www.paizo.com/pathfindersociety.  When you register, you'll receive an official Pathfinder Society Number. Keep your Pathfinder Society Number handy and bring it with you to every Pathfinder Society event you attend; GMs need this information for reporting organized play sessions, and you need it to get your in-game rewards each time you come!

What do I need to bring with me?

    • A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook (or access to the free online rules via laptop or smartphone) and a Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play (available as a free download from paizo.com) are required to play.
    • You may also want to bring a 7 piece set of polyhedral dice for gameplay (we have plenty of dice for sale at the store if you don't have your own!).
    • A copy of the Pathfinder Society Field Guide is also useful, but not required for play.
    • Finally, you will need to create and bring your own 1st level character with you!  If you don't have time or don't know how, don't worry, we have some pre-generated characters available for use!  Simply ask your GM and they will be happy to get you one!

For more details about the Pathfinder Society Organized Play, please check out the Quick Start Guide available on our website at http://www.gamersarmory.com/index.php/component/joomdoc/cat_view/97-pathfinder?orderby=dmdate_published

    Hello everyone,

As I am sure you all have heard, this week’s Pathfinder Society event @ Gamer’s Armory is officially cancelled. I've glanced outside, and the Durham streets around my apartment are gradually turning into a Hoth scene from the Empire Strikes Back. Doug and I spoke over the phone, and we have agreed that the roads are simply too dangerous for either of us to make it. I have also heard that Michael Payne cannot come by due to tire problems, so we are officially out of GMs for tonight. I apologize to any players who still would like to play—we hope you will come to the Meetup next week!

Meanwhile, please contact anyone you know who is actively planning to come to one of our Pathfinder games tonight if you think they might not have heard about the cancellation—we don’t want anyone risking their cars and lives for nothing!

Sorry everyone! See you next week!

GMs, keep an eye our for email about revising the schedule. Hopefully February will be more cooperative than January has been.

Unfortunately we have to bow out. Our roads are icy and it's only going to get worse. See everyone next week.

I am sorry too but I agree, I don't want to take any chances either. I just went outside and we have a half inch of ice on our street and it is just getting worst. Be safe everyone!!

We are watching the weather, if it gets bad I cannot bring my daughter out, but we are currently planning on playing our low levels(already registered)

Based on the weather I may have difficulty getting home tonight. I will look into getting tires this afternoon and come on over early so I can be sure to be there.

@JJ, I can take one more. And you always have the option of playing a pregen, so no one should have to go home. Also I believe Michael Allen said he could run something low in a pinch. @Ben, that's a cool offer if your table doesn't make. But we don't want to deprive anyone of those ancient evils if we don't have to.

Ok, so it looks like we have three tables. Do we have a confirmed alternate just in case we need to split a table in the back/have a fourth? If it looks like my table will be light, I'll volunteer to run on a half-sized table if need be. I'll also prep Master of the Fallen just in case I don't have enough people for Carrion Hill.

    January 23, 2013

    • Ben

That is, Master of the Fallen Fortress, which is a level 1 only mod.

It looks like another crowded Friday night at Gamer's Armory. So far #4-01: Rise of the Goblin Guild (subtier 1-2) has Matt, Nico, Mike, Kendall, Michael, and Joanna. Assuming everyone shows up, there is only room for one more PC. Is anyone else planning on playing RotGG?

    January 23, 2013

    • JJ K.

I am. All my chars are still lowbie

      January 23, 2013

  • Ben

I am planning to run a 3 part module called Carrion Hill. Carrion Hill is meant for players from 4-6th level and is highly influenced by Lovecraftian fiction/Call of Cthulu. I don't want to give too much away, but it's got some pretty nice stuff at the end for anyone who's willing to commit for the next three Fridays. I hope I can get enough players to run it all the way through!

    January 22, 2013

  • Doug S.

Mike, I think I'm the only one running a low level table this weekend. Running Rise of the Goblin Guild at 1-2 won't be a problem.
