I am a retired US Army Ranger and Pathfinder. I have written a book "Bug Out Survival Guide" and have just started Prepping. I have built several Bug-out bags based on my own experience. I want to get ideas from others and want to share my stuff.
Most definitely, YES. I have started getting prepared and have done extensive research and have a lot to learn and some great experience and skills to help others.
Sure, I hope to get things to a point soon where I won't be embarrassed by how little stuff I have gathered but I (Like most) am doing this on a budget.
I feel like there is strength in numbers and also that the diversity of our country has given us tremendous strength, so I don't care what your color or gender or religion or any of that stuff is, It is going to take all of us.
I would like to see a network formed and pool some buying power so we can get discounts on food stuffs and use that network to establish a safe haven grid when and if something does happen. By setting up this network, we can share knowledge, experience, discounts, and ideas that will help all of us. There are so many people that want desperately to be prepared but do not know where to start or how to go about it. Every dollar spent in that direction needs to be well aimed and deliberate, just like survival itself. We can use things that people have found success with to establish a "Get Started Guide"
