Climbing at the Vertical Edge, dinner at Uno Chicago Grill

Join us for some top roping at the Vertical Edge climbing gym. No experience necessary!! You can rent all the gear. There'll be some experienced climbers there to help.

Adults $8.00 (meetup rate, mention you're with meetup at the front desk)
You must be on the RSVP list 1 hour before the event to get this rate.

Equipment Rental
Shoes: $ 3.00
Harness: $ 3.00
Shoes and Harness: $ 5.00
Chalk Bag: $ 1.00
Belay Device and 2 locking carabiners: $ 1.00

Meeting Schedule:
- meet for introductions
- break into groups with a mix of beginner & experienced climbers
- teach belay skills for those interested in getting belay certified
- dinner at 9:30pm

Note: Vertical Edge can be hard to find for the first time (have their # [masked] handy in case you get lost), if you're coming on us-70 west then look for the neon piano sign shaped like a grand piano on the right, you'll see the white Kawasaki building to your left. Take the next left and do a U-Turn back to the Kawasaki building and take a right into the parking lot. Drive straight through the parking lot towards the back of the Kawasaki building and Vertical Edge will be to your right at the back of the Kawasaki building.
