They've got everything you can ask for! Here's what you have to choose from:

  • whitewater rafting/kayaking class 3-4
  • flatwater kayaking
  • zip line
  • obstacle course
  • rock climbing
  • trail riding, hiking
  • classes for whitewater/flatwater kayaking from beginner with no experience to advanced. http://www.usnwc.org/...

If you take a class they provide all the equipment. There's a $55 intro class if you've never been on whitewater. All other classes are $80 per hour. They have class packages that are $250 for pure beginners & $288 for Intermediate.

The Game Plan
Meet somewhere in the morning to arrange carpooling, arrive at the whitewater center, split into groups for different sports, meet as a group for lunch/dinner, head back.

More information here: http://www.usnwc.org/...

What to bring

  • sun block
  • a couple of changes of clothes if you're doing a water sport

When you RSVP indicate which sport you'll be doing.

I am told that if you take the package class plus a $20 kayaking fee then yes you can keep the boat and all the gear for the day. I do not know if this applies to a single class though. Hua-Ying would know best. PS. Be prepared for the conveyor to be non-operational.

Who needs classes... just paddle, flip, drain, and try again! Okay classes would really cut down on the flipping part.

A great trip, perfect for the weather! Would like to try to climbing when it is cooler. Thanks to Hua-Ying and Jorge for help practicing after the kayaking lesson.
