- meet for introductions
- break into groups with a mix of beginner & experienced climbers
- teach belay skills for those interested in getting belay certified

Note: Vertical edge can be hard to find for the first time (have their # [masked] handy in case you get lost), if you're coming on us-70 west then look for the neon piano sign shaped like a grand piano on the right, you'll see the white Kawasaki building to your left. Take the next left and do a U-Turn back to the Kawasaki building and take a right into the parking lot. Drive straight through the parking lot towards the back of the Kawasaki building and Vertical Edge will be to your right at the back of the Kawasaki building.
