Join us for some climbing at the Triangle Rock Club. No prior climbing experience is necessary!! There'll be some experienced climbers there to help. For your very first visit to TRC with the Raleigh Rock Meetup Group your climbing pass and harness rental are free! Climbing shoes are optional, but we strongly suggest that you "splurge" and rent a pair for $3. :-) Thereafter, returning climbers receive a $4 discount on their adult climbing pass for every Meetup event! Important: To qualify for these special rates you must RSVP before the deadline which is one hour before the event begins.

The $4 discount is available each time you attend one of our events - there is no longer any need to count your visits. We'll leave the gym around 9:30pm for dinner at Los Tres Magueyes which is about a three minute drive from the gym in the same shopping center as the Park Place 16 Cinemas. Join us for some top roping at the Vertical Edge Climbing Center. No experience necessary!! You can rent all the gear. There'll be some experienced climbers there to help.

Adults $8.00 (meetup rate, mention you're with meetup at the front desk)
You must be on the RSVP list 1 hour before the event to get this rate.

Meeting Schedule:
- meet for introductions
- break into groups with a mix of beginner & experienced climbers
- teach belay skills for those interested in getting belay certified
- dinner at 9:30pm

Note: Vertical Edge can be hard to find for the first time (have their # 919-596-6910 handy in case you get lost), if you're coming on us-70 west then look for the neon piano sign shaped like a grand piano on the right, you'll see the white Kawasaki building to your left. Take the next left and do a U-Turn back to the Kawasaki building and take a right into the parking lot. Drive straight through the parking lot towards the back of the Kawasaki building and Vertical Edge will be to your right at the back of the Kawasaki building.

Join us for some climbing at the Triangle Rock Club. No prior climbing experience is necessary!! There'll be some experienced climbers there to help. Shoe and harness rental is only $7, and for your first Meetup event the climbing pass is free! Thereafter returning Meetup climbers get a free pass every 4th event they attend! (New and returning climbers - be sure to sign in on the Meetup register at the front desk to get the Meetup rate.) TRC also offers a special introductory climbing class (normally $45) at a reduced rate ($10!) for Meetup members. Call the Triangle Rock Club (919-463-7625) to reserve a spot in advance, or ask the event organizer for details.
