I was not happy with the quality, grade, and accessibility of the routes at Lifetime Fitness. Primarily, the routes are rated lower than their difficulty. They rely on long, "reachy" moves unnecessarily in order to increase difficulty instead of using moves based on technique. This results in even the lowest rated climbs to be too difficult for newcomers. Not to mention the lowest rating is at "5.6". This greatly reduced the accessibility for two new guests that I brought with me this evening, despite them being able to complete similarly rated routes at TRC.

I believe to make this more accessible to new folks, there should be a few more low grade routes, and the "reach" factor be toned down a bit. I appreciate Lifetime Fitness opening their gym up to the meetup, and look forward to climbing there in the future.
