TRC North + Dinner TBD

Come hang out with us at the TRC North. No prior climbing experience is necessary!!

For your first visit to TRC (either one) with the Raleigh Rock Climbing Meetup Group your climbing pass and harness rental are free! Climbing shoes are optional, but we strongly suggest that you "splurge" and rent a pair for $4. :-) Returning climbers receive a $4 discount on their adult climbing pass for every Meetup event! Important: To qualify for these rates you must RSVP before the deadline which is one hour before the event begins. Thanks for your cooperation.

Please use your RSVP comment to let us know if you are a new climber or would like to get belay-certified. If you're present when the event starts, the organizer should be near the front desk. Otherwise ask the folks at the front desk to point out the organizer and be sure to introduce yourself after you've checked in. Please get a name tag so we'll know who you are! (The organizer will be wearing one too).

We'll head out to dinner between 8:45 and 9:30 p.m. at a place to be determined by consensus of those present.

Feel free to make dinner recommendations since this is a new locale for us! (Constraints: Within 3mi of TRC North, open late, willing to accommodate a large group.) Popular places we've been include Dos Taquitos, Chilli's and the Flying Burrito.

Hi, I've gone climbing a few times before. This is my first coming to this meetup and I wanted to get belay-certified. Thanks!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
