As the spring approaches and weather gets warmer, I'm sure that you all are getting the bug to climb outside. Ascent Adventure Consultants is offering a brand new series of classes, called Climb Outside, that teach all the necessary skills needed to begin climbing outside. The classes cover rope management, anchor building, belaying techniques, knot tying, rappelling, and more. The classes are broken down into 4 sessions, beginning April 1st. The first 3 classes are 2 hour sessions held at Caribou Coffee on Duraleigh Road in Raleigh. The final session, on April 18th, will be held at Pilot Mountain to put all the newly learned skills to the test! The best part....the series of classes only costs $200.00 per person for all 4 sessions! Check out their website for more information and to sign up!
