Social Media, SEO and You - The Perfect Storm

  • Jul 22, 2009 · 6:30 PM

If you use MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, Wikipedia, Twitter, WordPress, LinkedIn, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, YouTube or any one of the other social sites, you are already using social media. Because of the very different feel of social networking and the communities built around them, it can have a powerful impact on your business. If you want people to be talking about you, your site, or your business then you should take the time to participate in that conversation. Join us to talk about how not to look like a dork on Twitter, how to not embarrass your kids on Facebook and not make enemies on Flickr. I'm waiting on hearing back from the Cary library on their meeting room for the location.

Phil and Ashley- another great meetup. I learned a lot and gained a different perspective on how to leverage the diverse social media options available. Thanks for your time and thanks to MediaTwo for hosting; a great venue for the large group.

This group outgrows each larger meeting place it finds, and for good reason. Good networking after good presentation. Worth the time. Time to RSVP for next one...

I thought it was WONDERFUL! A lot of topics were brought up that I think are really pertinent. Everyone was very engaged and friendly. I felt very welcome and enjoyed meeting other members afterward. I feel like a have a great core of people to turn to now with my social media / Web design questions. I can't wait for the next one!
