Movie Night: Frozen

What does an act of love mean? Come on.... its a princess movie. Well.... she doesnt get kissed by the prince. There is a nice message of bravery and community in this story.

I really enjoyed the film minus the showtunes.

I agree, they burst into song, every time they changed scenes, and sometimes more often. Thanks for holding out till the end!

Boy it was funny to see what everyone expected the "act of love" would be. We are so programmed to think kissing your true love is the only way....geez!

Disney was the one who programmed many of us to think like that, including The Little Mermaid with a song "Kiss The Girl". Snow White and Sleepy Beauty had to be rescued with a kiss. Disney turned Grimm's violent tales into kissing tales.
