Following on from all the great work that's been happening at the last three RHoK Melbourne events, we've scheduled this Showcase Evening at the Electron Workshop so that people can see what everyone has been working on. It's going to be a chance for teams to show the progress they have made on their solution thus far, and if you've never been to a RHoK before it will be a chance to just find out what it's all about.
We'll also be hearing a bit from Sean Herron from NASA, who is in Melbourne at the moment. Sean is a passionate member of the RHoK Global Partners core team and enjoys engaging with the RHoK community regularly. Sean is a strategist in the Open Innovation office at NASA in Washington, D.C.. Prior to his role at NASA, he worked as the Director of Public Relations for the John Dau Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on building a reliable healthcare network in Sudan. Sean is also an experienced web developer, taking on numerous freelance web projects and teaching a course in semantic web design at Syracuse University.
Sean's areas of focus include open source and open data policy development and evangelism as well as research into new ways NASA can collaborate using emerging technologies.
Hope to see you there!
