Meet others who want to share Random Acts of Kindness. Be the change you wish to see in the world, as Gandhi said. Experience how good it feels to make our world a better place - one person, one deed at a time!
This club is inspired by Dreamweavers (www.randomactsofkindness.org) which supported our first service project back in 2007 before we were even club. The club also supports the ideals of Foundation for a Better Life (www.forbetterlife.org) and CHARACTER COUNTS! (www.charactercounts.org). Check these out to get inspired and started on Random Acts of Kindness today!
The club was founded in Arlington Heights by a single working mom and some forward-thinking Patton Elementary School students who decided to take the time to care for strangers in need. The seed was planted a few years ago when some total strangers helped my family out of a major crisis. Organizing this effort is one of my ways of paying it forward.
You don't need to live in Arlington Heights to join. It's free - as kindness is - and all ages are welcome. Check out our past and upcoming activities and sign up now to make today an even better day!
