"It is not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something.
May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind,
bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely."
~Leo F. Buscaglia 1924-1998
"I have an irrepressible desire to live till I can be assured that the
world is a little better for my having lived in it."
Hello and thank you for your interest in our wonderful meetup! We are all about doing for others and making our world a better place. Join us! We would love to have you join us!
I grew up with my well being sometimes quite dependent on the kindness and generosity of complete strangers...with my five siblings there were times that we'd sit up to the dinner table to say grace but it wasn't always to say prayers over our food it was at times to say a prayer for our food...I tell you that not to garner your sympathy (as I would not change my life as it has shaped who I am and made me tenderhearted)..I do not wish for pity but what I do want is your brilliant mind, your compassionate heart, your understanding and your ability to do something to improve someone else's station in life...you have the ability to change a life...
to touch someone's existence and show them that you care...
Please join me as we enrich lives....together we can make a world of difference...
one family (or person) at a time...giving is it's own reward..
One must be poor to know the luxury of giving.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
If we have the opportunity to be generous with our hearts, ourselves,
we have no idea of the depth and breadth of love's reach.
The only gift is a portion of thyself.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
