Looking for ALL volunteers - not just photographers!! They are looking for people to get the families registered, serve as hosts and walk each family through the different stations, floaters to help out as needed, photo assistants to help photographers, Santa's helpers, photo editors, downloaders (download images off of photographers cards, briefly discuss any notes photographer has on which image to use and send to editors upstairs), etc.
Main event will be Sat. Dec 8th, but you MUST contact event organizers PRIOR to the event or attend a pre-event meeting. If you are unable to attend a scheduled pre-event meeting, the organizers WILL accept new volunteers through December 1st. Contact them on the website www.cosmiles.org.
They are wanting to make face-to-face contact with all volunteers BEFORE the day of the event for both safety concerns, and so that they can have a more accurate count on what volunteers are coming to help. The event is a full day thing. Set up starts at 6am and looking to be done with cleanup by 6pm. If you cannot attend all day, that is okay, but please be able to attend most of it, especially cleanup - the more there are, the faster it goes!
