It's time to get a bit more cultured. Did you know there is an elevated park in NYC? Well, join us as we learn a bit about the High Line Park. After the tour, you can opt to hang out for a bite and a few drinks.
The High Line was built in the 1930s, as part of a massive public-private infrastructure project called the West Side Improvement. It lifted freight traffic 30 feet in the air, removing dangerous trains from the streets of Manhattan's largest industrial district. No trains have run on the High Line since 1980. Friends of the High Line, a community-based non-profit group, saved the High Line from demolition and preserved and transformed it in to a beautiful public park.
The tour will be hosted by Dave Cervini from NYSN , a certified tour guide. He'll be showing you pictures and talk all about the park.

Great tour-longer than an hour, but worth it to see the beautiful sunset. Awesome random facts, worth the $12. Happy hour and karoke afterwards were pretty fun too!
