Raspberry Pi & The Internet Of Things

Tweeting coffee-machines? Web-controlled microwaves?  Home automation?

Imagine the possibilities opened by when connecting any machine thing to the internet.

The Raspberry Pi is the go-to bridge for connecting things to the interwebs.

We'll start with a presentation of how to get started with Pi, and then discuss how you can use the Pi to connect your project to the cloud.

Event is for all ages and experience levels, and if this is the first time building with the Raspberry Pi you are certainly welcome.

Also, if you already have a project and would like to present (or something you would like to connect to the cloud) totally feel free bring it over.

Hi all: I'm working with a company to build a collection of cloud services for Pi. Things like iOS/Android notifications sent from Pi to your phone based on some trigger event. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinion on what cloud services would be most interesting to the Pi developer community? Hope to see you next Thursday.
